In each and every upgrade you are given several choices, so you must take a look at the features each upgrade has for instance some upgrades will make you a lot faster but not too strong, while other upgrades will make your shots very effective but they will only be fired after a certain amount of time making the weapon quite slow, these slow weapons are always needed because they are effective but you will also need fast weapons as you advance from level to level.
